Really good Dining Experience

I was truly impressed with the dining options at Barcelo Maya Palace. The food at both the buffet and a la carte restaurants offered a plethora of choices that catered to all preferences, including a gluten-free area. I particularly enjoyed the variety provided at the breakfast buffet, where the made-to-order omelets were delicious and fresh. Every meal was a delight, and I can't wait to return for those lattes and scrumptious juices!

Fantastic Spa and Leisure Facilities

The Hydrotherapy Circuit was an very nice addition to my stay. I had unlimited daily access and found it to be a highlight of my trip. It was rejuvenating! Also, the pools throughout the resort were gorgeous and provided numerous options, from family-friendly to quiet adult areas. I had a great time unwinding by the large pool surrounded by lush greenery.

Spacious and Comfortable Rooms

Our junior suite was perfect for our family. It had ample space with a king-sized bed and two daybeds, which made it easy for my adult children and me to enjoy our time together without feeling cramped. Impressive Gym Facilities

As someone who enjoys working out even while on vacation, I was thrilled by the state-of-the-art gym facilities available. The larger gym had an excellent range of equipment, including weights and cardio machines. I even had a fantastic experience with friendly staff like Erick, who made my visits enjoyable. It was definitely one of the best resort gyms I've ever experienced!

Our stay at Barcelo Maya Palace was absolutely wonderful! The service was outstanding, and the food was incredible, especially at the a la carte restaurants. The pools and activities for the kids made it family-friendly and entertaining. However, the sheer size of the resort might be overwhelming for those with mobility issues. Overall, it was an exceptional value for an all-inclusive experience, and we can't wait to return!

My stay at the resort was filled with ups and downs. The beach and snorkeling right off the hotel were fantastic, and the staff made us feel welcomed. However, the check-in process was chaotic, and the dining options, especially a la carte, left a lot to be desired. Despite the friendly service, I don't think the premium upgrade was worth it given the issues we faced.
